Worked my rear off last week, spent too much time online yesterday, but... in between that, I managed to write a lot of Between Angels and Puppies. The good news is that we decided to not go with the cheesy ending. So many of you responded positively in the poll that we were both stunned. Needless to say, our writing muses to get their rears in gear and now we can't stop writing, which is bad, because we have to coordinate. No worries, we somehow manage to keep in contact despite our schedules though end up doing most of the writing and typing.

Soo... there is at least two to four worth of updates... However, they are written on paper, which means one of us needs to get off our lazy rears and actually type it.

Expect an update within the next week.

Every month, we have what we call monthlies, where our units send in a lot of specimens for us to process. This means we have to work more hours and yeah, you get the point. In any event, we used to work ten hour shifts, but in order to get everything done (or as much done), we have changed to the twelve hour shifts.

Yay!

Not really. I'm tired, and I just want the weekend to come. Work isn't fun during these days.

But that's not the point. Our CLS (who I won't name) has been holding a specimen for almost a week since she wants to run it in batches. We don't receive enough of this particular test so she wanted to save it up until we have enough....

BUT!

The doctor called and wanted the results in by a certain time. She is the only one who can run the machine since the other CLS needs to be trained on the machine. In any event, she doesn't want to come in and run the test. She is the one who held the test when she should have run it a long time ago. Now, I'm not even sure if the specimen is still good to use. Meh.

She'll blame it on someone else as always.

Wooot! *dances around* Last weekend, I managed to make an update (with the help of my minion who shall remain nameless) and get all the fluffiness that I promised. I luffs protective Angeal and confused puppy and out of it chocobo! Minion and I have been writing during our breaks and whenever we can so that we can get you the next chapter this weekend. I'm hoping we can post up an unbeta-ed version by Saturday at the latest, but we'll see. It may end up being Sunday. DX
